To captialise on these, innovative ideas need to be “developed and owned” by people across the business, that is, employees, managers, executives and boards.

2. INTERNAL ALIGNMENT

Within organisations the different groups, teams, business units and product lines are all adapting to the so-called “new normal”.   This means that they are all changing in order to ensure relevance and survival.  However, with many moving parts it’s very easy for them to act in ways that might be essential for their individual needs, but inadvertently disrupt other parts of the business.
